Yes, we do. While our primary focus is on supporting Bain alumni, we also recognize the value and potential in start-ups led by non-Bain alumni. In select cases where we see that our involvement, along with the resources of Bain & Company, can be instrumental in accelerating the start-up’s success, we are open to considering an investment. We believe in fostering innovation and are always on the lookout for exceptional teams and groundbreaking ideas, regardless of their alumni status.

Our first checks are typically in start-ups from the pre-seed stage up to Series B, though we aim to follow-on in later rounds. Our goal is to support early-stage companies through their initial growth phases.
